It's what keeps us inventing and reinventing, all the time. Our culture is wide open, just like our spaces. We bring out the best in each other through collaboration. Through our countless volunteer projects, we also help network with the communities around us, too. You can do amazing work here. Work you couldn't do anywhere else. It's up to you to make it happen.
What makes Bloomberg unique is that we take a holistic, multi-faceted approach to sustainability. We're focused on operating our company sustainably and responsibly and offering environmental, social and governance (ESG) data and unique technology solutions that help clients meet their business objectives. We're also creating tools and developing initiatives to help strengthen the marketplace's transition towards a low-carbon economy, supporting governments in thinking through the policy role and, through philanthropic endeavors, investing in the sustainability of communities across the world. We convene multi-disciplinary experts, business and governmental leaders and some of the world's most influential people to contemplate solutions to tough sustainability challenges. All told, we are helping build the infrastructure for a sustainable future.
Our Team
Bloomberg's Global Sustainability Office (GSO) drives the development of our global sustainability strategy, which is predicated on alignment with Bloomberg's business objectives and the materiality of relevant ESG factors to our business model. The GSO also drives its execution - accountable for certain measures of success, facilitating the accountability of collaborators across the company for measures relevant to their areas and organizing and chairing key councils and committees. The GSO is also responsible for sustainability reporting and disclosure - publishing Bloomberg's annual Impact Report, our voluntary sustainability report and driving the formalization of the company's approach to mandatory sustainability reporting, a key priority in 2024.
